 St Charbel’s family is a ecclesial community whose mission is for its members to be “monks in the world…”
It is a prayer school, and discipleship of Christ, and radical living of the Gospel in the heart of the family, parish and society and starting from Annaya with an inspiration from St Charbel's spirituality. Its role model is the first Christian community which continued stedfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers, having God’s Mother, Mary, in the center of its life. Its launch is from the work of the Holy Spirit, God blessed it a gift to the Lebanese church, which was a result of a prayer near the St Peter & Paul hermitage in Annaya.
Its community consists of priests, monks, nuns and secularists of all ages, who participate in masses, teaching, prayer, the Rosary and spiritual practice. |
